Review content:
Community Innovations is okay for what it is. If you cannot get anyone else for mental health services then by all means go here, but I have had several problems with this place. The assigned me a case manager and I had several problems with her. She never remembered anything and I had to remind her to work on my case. Community Innovation's other clientele is not very reliable (I have a friend who worked with the targeted clientele) as far as keeping up with their own care. Its very important for case managers to be responsible, and mine was not. I complained about her several times and it took a long time before anything was done. My psychiatrist insults me and my therapist talks about her own problems and issues. One time she even spoke about when her ex-boyfriend was on top of her during sex!!
Also, Community Innovations calls you the day before your appointment. Before then they don't assign your psych. appointment. They wait to assign it the day before. When I complain that I need advance notice they ignore it as if that is laughable. They changed my diagnoses without evaluating me. They also refused to give me my records that I asked for. And they mysteriously lost the records from my former psych and therapist that I had in the city I used to live in.
I am trying to make arrangements to see another therapist and psychiatrist in the area as soon as possible. I want to get away from Community Innovations and never look back!!
