Trattoria Marcella is just about everything an Italian restaurant should be. It maintains to keep the feel of a humble neighborhood eatery. But from the moment you walk in, you can tell these people take the food and dining experiences they sell very seriously. The food is, quite simply, second to none. I had the lasagne and my wife had the famous lobster risotto and they were both bursting with multi-layered flavor. We finished with some creme brule for dessert which was very good. The wine list is very good as well. The service is very attentive and professional. And the prices are very reasonable as compared to most upscale Italian eateries. Trattoria Marcella deserves the accolades it has received. I look very forward to my next visit and anybody visiting St. Louis should put in on their list. It just should not be missed.
