Tucked in an alley between L.S. Liquidators and Family Dollar (where Johnston St crosses Judson Rd about a mile north of Hwy 80) sits one of the best restaurants in Longview. They have great fried catfish, wonderful crawfish spaghetti, huge fried shrimp, and many other favorites on their menu. You can usually get in and out of there quickly, which makes it convenient for lunch. A must-try is the chicken spaghetti, which you can also buy in a family size portion. I don't know who thought to sell chicken spaghetti in a seafood restaurant, but I am glad they did! Also, they sell oysters on the half shell. Currently, they are $7.95 a dozen which is a really good price compared to other places. Last time I was there, the oyster shucker found a pearl in one of the oysters. It was rough and not shiny of course, but still pretty neat! Oh - and difinitely try the sweet potato fries. Yum.
