City of Tampa just approved Section 8 housing for this complex. I have been here for years and since the new management took over it went downhill fast. While making some asthetic changes (new paint, dog waling area) this place is already a haven for shady deals (dont believe me? Drive through the OPEN gate and go to the new carwash area on a friday or saturday night). The slums down the road has expanded and anyone can get a place here. Where it was once a selective, decent place for professionals and students, now it is all homies hangin with thier 40's blasting rap till all hours. And the dopes in the office denied it was going section 8 until I showed them the public notice issued by the city court. THEN I was called an intolerant, ignorant person. I just worked my whole life to get to a position where I do not want to live like a free-loading, tax payer burden, slum living homeslice. If you are looking for a decent place that is not turning into a battlezone move past Amberly Rd a half mile away. Pros: I do not have to visit Busch Gardens to see monkeys in the wild Cons: I get free entertainment-loud music and narcotic deals without leaving my porch
