Yea, so my car needed work and the tow guy convinced me to take it to this place because they were capable of getting what I needed done. They gave me high hopes at first. They said they could and would fix my car for the amount estimated - $1300, and i was expecting about $2000. Well, after charging me $1700, they still weren't anywhere near done and told me they were looking at about $1000 more to put into it. So I decided nevermind, I will cut my losses and take my Toyota to a specialized import shop. So I did. Turns out, Advanced Automotive not only failed to fix my car, they made it WORSE. Yea, apparently when they were test-driving it around to get diagnostics and see how thier progress was, THEY FAILED TO PUT OIL IN THE ENGINE. NEVER ONCE DID THEY CHECK THE OIL IN MY CAR! I drove it from thier shop to Apex on Broadway and Swan (about 1.5 miles). That's all it took to make the engine sieze up and die upon arrival. Advanced Automotive CLAIMS that they put oil in it, yet it does not reflect on the invoice. They said they were being ""generous"" and must have decided not to charge me for oil, yet they deemed it necessary to place $10 in gas on my invoice. THEY ARE CON-ARTISTS. THEY ARE STUPID. THEY ARE HORRIBLE MECHANICS. NEVER EVER LET YOUR CAR NEAR THIS SHOP. TRUST ME.
