Review content:
This gym bills itself as Charleston's only ""upscale"" fitness club. If that's true, then ""upscale"" needs to be redefined. This gym is in a beautiful space and if you want to pay through the nose for that, go ahead. They have one room where all cardio classes take place (think dragging the spin bikes across the floor before class and dragging them back afterwards). Because all classes are in the same room, they can't offer that many at any given time. They only carry one brand when it comes to weight training machines, so there's no variety/choice there. They validate parking only up to two hours so if you have a long workout, forget about showering. Why is it so hard to find quality health clubs in Charleston? I moved here from a bigger city and am very dissapointed by the poor quality and high prices in this area. You are expected to pay a king's ransom for minimal services. Don't waste your money here.
Pros: Located downtown, nice building space
Cons: Overpriced, limited classes and class times, no value for the $$
