I enjoy going into Palo Alto Hardware. The people are friendly and wonderful. I go there 2-3 times a week for little things, and everyone is always smiling and willing to help me. I knew when it opened and the first time I walked into palo Alto Hardware, I felt very satisfactory. I've been going there for 20 years!! They have a lot of things you usually don't associate with hardware, such as gardening, things like that. The only thing I was not happy with was the hoses, which isn't their fault but the quality of the merchandise. If they don't have something you need, they will tell you upfront and not try to sell you something you don't need.
The people at Palo Alto Hardware are always helpful and always have a smile for you. They know me by name, and I know many of them by name. Spencer is helpful, and Will's helpful too. I've never run into anybody who wasn't helpful. They answer any questions about the merchandise.
There is a nearby major hardware store, and if you ask for something, they don't follow you down to what you're looking for. At Palo Alto Hardware, they may be busy, so as soon as they're finished they take you right down to what you need. They definitely do care about their customers. The man who owns the store makes it a joy to be in the store. Going to Palo Alto Hardware is just an all around pleasant thing to do. They're the best there is!
