I was raised on Mikes Dinners.. My mom use to work as a waitress for him on New Dorp Lane. Over the 38+ years Mike acquired many properties. The old Russo's was never any good.. plus others.. The old standbys.. His original Mikes Place on New Dorp lane was always good.. (I haven't been to mikes in a while. So I don't know how they are..) so was the Olympic..
But today, 5/9/12 around 12 noon... I morn the death of my fav.. dinner.. The Olympic Grill Dinner.
My combo plate.. Shiko bob was super spicy... I didn't order spicy then someone dumped a alt shaker on my food. UCK. MIKE where are you... Your Dinner needs you... the food is Horrible.. In addition For get getting your fries your way.. I ask for well done burnt I get soggy..I've even gotten my burger bun soaked in pickle juice.. sticking to the whole cheese burger. (Not at 2am though) Pricy to boot.. Don't dare order a special or anything other than a burger... you have been warned.
