I have been in the city for about a year from Los Angeles. It was time to get a birthday cake for my stepson's 10th birthday party attended by his school buddies, hockey teammates, and parents. After googling and making phone calls pricing 40-person, hockey theme double layer cakes that resulted in price sticker shock in the city, I was introduced to Cynthia of CBK Cookies in the nick of time. Cynthia created a personalized cake that had everything I wanted and more. The private school initials, the hockey player, the jersey number, the birthday inscription, and finally but not least of all...delicious moist vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting that had both parents and the boys relishing every bite down to the crumbs. Thank you for giving us a great cake experience! BTW, CBK has moved to 337 E 81 ST where I visited the small charming store.
