Review content:
I have been to a few Duffy's in the area many times, all have been Deerfield beach, boca Raton and Jupiter Florida. I have drove by and seen the duffy's sign but not sure if they were the same duffy's. I decided to stop.. It was late afternoon 3:15 on a Saturday on 8/18/12. I was approached with a nice welcome, smile and eye contact as Phil introduced himself. He told me the specials of the day. He also asked me if I had a mvp card and if I wanted something to drink. I asked for a diet coke. When he came back with in 2 minutes he brought my soda. He asked if I wanted to start off with something he could put in, I ordered the Margarita flat-bread. He asked if I wanted to add chicken, which I didn't even think of I agreed. He brought it out within 4 minutes and it was excellent, nicely displayed. Phil asked me if I had a chance to look at the menu and had any questions. I mentioned I felt like having a salad but the Asian I asked was mostly lettuce, herbs and chicken. I mentioned to him that I like most of the ingredients in the Cobb salad but not the avocado. He showed me the draft house salad, which looked perfect. I was shocked. I never knew such a salad was made in all the times I have been to the other duffy's. I asked for the salad with dressing on the side and also a bit of Caesar dressing in which he responded no problem. \r
During this time, Phil did observe my friend coming in and out of the restaurant deciding if he was going to stay or not. Im sure it put Phil in an awkward situation not knowing if he should put in the order or not. He was very cool and calm about it all. When my friend walked out Phil said, Im sorry he is making y ou so confused, I apologized to him. He asked me if I wanted to place the salad order which I did. Phil said if he did come back and wanted to order he would asap. He ws friendly, patient, customer service oriented and very professional. Now finding this Duffy's I will definitely go back and request Phil if he is a server. Also now that I know about the drafthouse salad I would order it in the future since it was excellent. Also Phil constantly checked on me, refilled my glass before I asked and made sure I was snjoying my meal as best as possible. Please thank him for me for the extreme excellent customer service he gave to me and the other tables I observed. He is truly committed to both the customers he serves and the company he works for. Thank you Lauri Laufer beaching@comcast.net
