I also recieved a third party attempt at collections for Pinnacle from Nelson Watson and Associates. I paid the bill in full in July 2008. IT IS STILL ON MY CREDIT REPORT TODAY AS UNPAID!!! This is insane. I contacted Nelson, Watson, Associates and they were very pleasant. They said that they had processed my payment onto Pinnacle in August of 08 and didn't know why Pinnacle was still reporting it. So I disputed it through Equifax, and Pinnacle came back with a report that I still had never made a payment! SO then I talked to a nice supervisor named Brent at Nelson Watson, and he said that the person he had processed my payment to at Pinnacle had gotten fired at the end of July 08 and nobody there had bothered to follow up on it. Pinnacle is really unprofessional. I think this might get resolved now in the next few weeks since I made Brent call Pinnacle and he sent me a letter stating it is paid in full, so at least I have something to show people running my credit report. But as of this date the Pinnacle charge is STILL on my credit report.
