The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and I really loved the way they decorated it. Im not here to sound ignorant or anything like that, but I went here when my parents had visited the area (I just moved here) and everything had sugar in it that we ate... nothing tasted like any Thai food we have had before. Im one of those people that will stick to one thing- so if I liked it in one place, i will get it again in another place (and my parents did the same- stick to what you know/like) and we all agreed it did not taste the same to us. I had the lime chicken salad- it was so sugary and guess what-- there wasnt even any lime in it- i had to ask for some and they brought me lemons... lol No where have i ever seen it with celery in it, and without mint/cilantro... I was honestly expecting it to be just like in Thailand provided there are many Thai people working there. Anyways-- i just want to say that my mom is from Thailand (I am half Thai and have spent time in Thailand as well eat quite a bit of Thai food) and this is definitely ""Americanized""-- which is what the staff told us (my mom seemed to enjoy being able to speak Thai with them). Did not know there was such a thing as American style Thai food! My dad had some kind of lemongrass coconut soup which was also sweet.... my fiance had a stuffed shrimp dinner which was not stuffed shrimp as we thought but the shrimp was the stuffing to a big doughy almost dumpling looking thing... The calamari had way too much batter on it and I only got about 8 rings for 8 bucks... We all sort of sampled each other's meal and a few things were good but as I said the food wasnt anything like I had anywhere else. I went here because of all the reviews and was greatly disappointed. I will say one thing- I love the thai coffee... even if it has a million grams of sugar in it-- i ended up watering it down and it was fine.
