HOME OWNERS BEWARE! These guys are a con! Most likely you're reading this review because some guy came to your door, handed you his GTRD roofing card and said he'd get your roof replaced free of charge with zero effort on your part. They'd ""handle"" working with your insurance agency to get them to pay. By handle, they mean defraud your insurance agency into paying for items that are not broke on your house, say that they fixed the items, and then walk away with a fatter check for doing nothing! They'll make you sign an agreement that says if they work with your insurance agency then you have to agree to let them do the work on your house. DO NOT SIGN THE AGREEMENT. Reluctantly I did which proved to be a costly and frustrating decision. As soon as I received the insurance check, they wanted to stop by the house and get it ASAP so they could start on the job. NOTE: NEVER PAY UNTIL THE JOB IS 100% COMPLETE. Unfortunately I went ahead and gave them the check because I was anxious to the get the work started. Everything was set to get the new roof right? WRONG! We set a date to put the roof on. The day came and went with ZERO communication on their part. After several calls on my part I was able to get a hold of them. They came up with several excuses why the job couldn't get done; weather delays, bad batch of shingles, scheduling conflicts etc. Ok, stuff happens. We agreed on a new date. Again, the same thing happened. ZERO communication. Rescheduled for a third time and the same thing happened again. By this time I'm beyond frustrated and have now been working with these jerks for 3 months! Finally I told them I was DONE and wanted my money back! Now I'm having to fight with them to return my money, am having to get my attorney involved, and I STILL don't have a new roof! There are a ton of respectable roofing companies out there. Unfortunately GTRD is not one of them. Do your research.
