I discovered that my daughter had ""knock knees"" when she was 15 months old. I was worried because most people I talked to said that she would need to wear braces on her legs to correct it.
I spoke with Dr Ryan Doerge at Bothell Chiropractic & Wellness and explained my situation. He asked me to bring my daughter in. Everyone at the office was very kind and they got us in right away. Once Dr Doerge saw her, he discovered that her pelvis was very tight and was affecting the way that she used her legs, which was causing the knock knees. He suggested that I bring her in a few times a month.
I have to admit that I was very skeptical. All of the information that I had read on knock knees had me thinking that just a simple and very gentle adjustment would not work. Dr. Doerge proved me wrong! Within a couple of months, my daughter was no longer walking on the insides of her feet, her knees no longer touched when she was walking, and she was no longer complaining about pain in her legs! I only need to take her in once every 4 weeks now, and I know that eventually, it will no longer be needed. Thank you Dr. Doerge and Bothell Chiropractic & Wellness for saving my daughter from years of pain in her legs!
