Businiess name:  Gerald Payne Plumbing

Review content:
We hired Gerald Payne Plumbing to do a variety of tasks while having our kitchen remodeled. Wanted to do our part to keep our dollars in the community, Windsor Hills. Plumbing rates were reasonable and the work was done well. The problem presented itself where it often does with so many contractors. They are not dependable in terms of coming back to finish the agreed upon job. There was one outstanding task we had left at the end of the project. Gerald commintted to coming back to finish installing a pedestal sink and re-seating the toilet in our small bathroom. Sure enough, when that day arrived, he did not show up, as scheduled, and did not accept our phone calls to see why and what happened. I am just amazed that personal responsibility no longer matters to contractors. A successful job for us could have opened the door to much more work as we know a lot of people remodeling or doing home projects that are in need of contractors, but I will not recommend this plumber to anyone that I know for the reason stated above. Too bad, because I wanted to support an African American's business. He speaks English and is in the neighborhood. If you don't mind being treated the way this plumber treats customers, hire him; but if want a plumber that is responsible and can be relied upon, choose someone else. Darryl Griffin
