Review content:
Living in the city, I like to get away... to the Woodlands. Market Street has a quaint Main Street feel to it that I liked and we like going but didn't enjoy eating at Tommy Bahama. So one day we tried Cru. It has a nice patio area to dine at on those really nice Houston days where it's a crime to stay indoors and it's good for people watching. I don't drink so I can't really comment on the wine and selection but I come for the food. The portions are small but filling but the artistry of the food is divine. My first meal there I had beef tips sandwich. I forgot what sort of bread it was served in but I remember the sauce it was cooked in. It was amazing. My husband and I were tempted to order seconds. The second time we went, we had a bento box lunch with beef, couscous and fruit salad. Not a morsel of couscous was left it was so good. The flavors complimented each other and the fruit salad refreshing and delightful. The third time we went it was on a Sunday when they had brunch. My husband loved the steak and eggs - though he wished there were more steak and I enjoyed the crab cake eggs benedict. We go all the way up to the Woodlands for food but the atmosphere is what really makes it nice.
Pros: Food, Ambience
Cons: Parking, portions are small but still worth it
