took my wife for dinner on her birthday because we had previously had a big celebration earlier with 25 friends. this was our first. we had a candelight dinner in an informal setting dinner for two for less than $50, featuring the beef for two - $32 and worth every penny. best flank steak i've had. the venue included our own byob champagne, appetizers (eggplant was to die for)... and dessert. wow, what a bargain. obviously a popular spot for many others who looked like regulars- got crowded quickly...on a wed night. no wonder, the service and food was marvelous. we'll become regulars for sure, even though we are southsiders. worth the trip!
Pros: casual ambiance, outstanding service
Cons: parking, a bit tight...
