We decidedly made the right decision by engaging Hillis Public Adjustors to represent our interests with a house fire claim. The company was thorough in their inspection of our property and the damages we incurred, diligent in pursuing rightful restitution from our insurance carrier, and empathetic to our situation and emotional state of mind. There is no doubt that the insurance carrier would have sent us a nominal disbursement and walked away from their responsibilities without the assistance of Hillis. The staff are personable, determined, subject matter experts; implementing timely communication to the clients they serve (claim status updates)is the only visible area where improvement is needed. We had to make multiple inquiries throughout this year-long process to obtain information on what was occurring in the process. That being said, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hillis Public Adjustors to friends, neighbors, and family - they did a terrific job for us and we're thrilled with the final outcome.
