Review content:
I really wanted to like this place. I was happy to hear about it since there seems to be a shortage of BBQ restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, I've had better. The food was OK. I ordered the brisket. It came thinly sliced and swimming in a bath of BBQ sauce (too much). I ordered the medium sauce which was on par with what most places would call ""hot"". The sauce wasn't bas but the meat itself lacked flavor and was too fatty for my taste. The beans weren't bad. The french fries were actually potato wedges and were decent. I got my meal to-go and I am sure glad I did. To say this place is a dive would be putting it mildly. It's like a shack with a bunch of cheap tables and chairs. This place probably hasn't been freshed up in the last 30 years. I picked up my food around 6:30pm and there were only two tables seated in the whole place - not usually the sign of a great restaurant.
Pros: Reasonable prices
Cons: Terrible decor, average food
