I agree with the majority of the other reviewers when I say that my dining experience at The Fireplace was down right AWFUL! I made reservations, but apparently that means nothing at this restaurant. The hostess was incompetent at best and sat incomplete parties ahead of us. When we were finally seated, we had to deal with a waitress that seemed bothered to have another table. The food was way too expensive for the quality and service and frankly I thought it was disgusting. I ordered the clambake, which was served in the Boston Harbor water they scooped it out of. The only reason we stayed was to hear the band, but I will never go back to this restaurant and do not recommend it to anyone!
