From the time that Dave visited to give us a quote to the follow up after our move, we were impressed with Roadrunner. They made our move personal and cared about our belongings.
Dave/Roadrunner was the only moving company we called that came to do a site visit to actually see what we had that would be moved from one house to another -- everyone else gave an estimate. Dave also gave us an absolute maximum price we would pay, which could be reduced depending on how much we packed/moved in advance (which is what we were hoping to do a bit of.) In contrast all of the other companies all gave a ballpark price which would go up depending on actual time, materials and amount moved. And at the end of the day, the final price came in under what Dave had quoted.
The crew at Roadrunner did a great job of communicating with us leading up to the move itself. Then on the day of the move, the team of movers (4 guys to pack up the truck, 3 guys to unload) was on time, which we really appreciated. Each one shook our hands and introduced themselves. So nice! We had a great experience with Terrence, BJ, Matt & Stefan. They were courteous and careful with our things, kept our places clean, and were very friendly and quick. They were all business while having a smile on their faces!
Great value for the money. No additional charges or hidden fees. They were very upfront with all of the permits, charges, etc so we knew what to expect.
We have already recommended them to many friends and will continue to do so. They made our moving day a breeze.
