Review content:
American Management is the worst leasing company I've ever rented from. The same thing happened to us that happened to elks617, only, they came after us for another $1000 after we moved out. This has happened to two of my other friends, living in two separate properties of theirs, as well. They included such charges as:
Moving a folding chair out of the living room.
Renovating the house (e.g. new toilet, new light fixtures).
Repainting the walls (paint was not damaged by us).
Finishing a bathroom (which was unfinished when we moved in).
Redoing the floors (not damaged by us).
In addition, they stole a grill we had purchased from the previous tenants, and then denied to have done so.
We were in college at the time and afterwards, we all moved away, only to get a bill in the mail six months later. I feel taken advantage of by this awful company, who provided terrible service while we were living there. Do not rent from this company.
And be aware, companies like this pay people to write positive reviews on these message boards.
