I can only give this place top marks because it lacks competition in the area. If this place was in a trendier area surrounded by good restaurants it would probably get a solid recommend from me but not a highly recommend. The lack of anything other than chain restaurants in the north end of the San Fernando Valley causes me to bestow high praise on this joint. The food was very good... all the dishes you would expect from an Italian joint plus some nice specials. I got the chicken parmigiana and my wife got chicken in brandy cream sauce, which turned out to be excellent. The dessert tray did look good, with lot's of choice, and I settled on the hazlenut and chocolate cannoli. Again, very good. Also, the service was excellent... friendly, not too fast bringing out the food, constant bussing of the table.
