Review content:
I made an inquiry on Saturday about a doberman posted online. I received a quick response back via telephone. I had a nice, long conversation with Helen of which I spoke of possibly making a visit on Sunday to see all their available dogs. I completed the application and emailed it back immediately. Sunday I received an email saying they would be unable to have us visit that day as they'd be at an adoption event in Calabassas. We would have drive to the event if given the chance. Helen had said she would call me back on Monday to arrange another time to visit. I heard nothing until Wed. at which time Helen says they don't have any reps in my area for the home visit and therefore they can't work with us! Really? They knew where we lived, knew we would have come out and never mentioned anything about distance. Helen told me they have so many dogs in need of good homes. If they continually refuse to work with prospective families then I really am not surprised they have so many dogs needing families. What a disappointment my experience with this ""rescue"" has been!
