Review content:
My husband and I are expecting our first and so now we need a two bedroom apartment. We met with the manager, Pat, who was very polite over the phone, and scheduled a tour. We were instantly disappointed with the grounds; lots of cement, asphalt and old paint, but since we had already made the 20 minute drive, we figured we should see if maybe the insides were better.
While waiting on the manager to arrive at her office, I thought I was getting bites on my lower legs and ankles but wasn't sure because I didn't see any bugs. Later I would find out that these were flea bites. Joy.
She seemed both polite and amicable at first, until she asked the other applicant (a black gentleman) if instead of finishing his application in the office if he would mind filling it out in his car...in 90+ degree heat with his toddler in tow...I can't believe he did it. She then locked the office on the way out. This shows one of two things, either she didn't trust him, or she doesn't trust anyone. Either way, fairly crap way to treat a prospective tenant.
The apartments were crap. The hallways smelled and looked like a very bad nursing home. Weird awkward placement of rooms and chaotic set up, we could hear the neighbors talking both in the hallway and apartment, the carpet from room to room didn't match, and the bath tubs were so disgusting, I wouldn't clean my garbage can out in it.
Even for the price, which she quoted a 2 bedroom as 525 with a 25 fee for a cat (you know, to protect their disgustingly stained carpet), which I guess is reasonable for a 2 bedroom, this is not worth anything.
