Review content:
I'm a fan of fast food. The compromises in the quality of ingredients? Love it. The skimping? I relish it. The bad service? I smirk. Taco Bell used to be a laughably inexpensive option for predictable fare-- cheap quality chips, cheddar-like cheese, and standard low grade ground beef. It was consistent and edible.
But now? Now, Jesus Christ. Taco Bell has passed into the realm of inexcusable.
The chips in the Nachos Bell Grande were rubbery, white flour imitations of tortilla chips. The tortilla wraps on the chicken burrito were microwaved into a leathery inedible bandage. The chicken was unrecognizably gelatinous pressed chicken. The flavors were off. (And it's hard to ruin mainstream flavors like cheddar cheese and onion salt-seasoned minced beef. And the prices have doubled in the last few years.
I will never, ever go back to this Taco Bell, or any. Just unforgivably horrific. What happened to this company?
