BE AWARE of the so-called ""boil shrimp specials"" at Sam's Boat. I asked the waitress what was the special and was told the boil shrimp was 35 cents, before 7 pm. I said ""excuse me...35 cents/pound"". The waitress responded ""yes."" Unbeknown of the scam, we ordered 4 pounds of the special ""boil shrimp"" and another 4 pounds shortly thereafter when more friends arrived, who also asked the waitress to confirm the 35 cents/pound boil shrimp special. which she confirmed.
