Review content:
Since my husband and I moved here from California 4 years ago, I've had a hard time finding a steady hair stylist. I've been everywhere from cheaper type salons to more expensive salons. I'm happy to say that my quest has ended! I went to see Kat yesterday (I chose her based on reviews). I have to start by saying that I can't remember having such a thorough consultation. I was having a drastic cut (from well below my shoulder to neckline) and highlights done. It seemed important to her that she knew exactly what I wanted. That sounds basic, I know, but in my experience it rarely happens. I get the nod, nod, nod while I'm explaining what I want and walk out with something quite different. Not the case with Kat. Even after discussing the haircut, she brought me hairstyle magazines to make sure we were on the same page. I left really happy but waited to leave a review after styling it myself. That's the clincher for me. I think hairdressers have a knack for styling hair but I need to be able to style it without looking like I've lost my mind or spending too much time on it. I love it! Oh and they're reasonably priced for a fine salon. Open 7 days a week...How can you beat that?
