If you are a hobbyist of any kind you will find what you need at KC Hobby. The minute you walk in the door you are usually welcomed by one of the many knowledgeable and proficient employees as well as one or both of the owners, Kirby and Sherry Cranford. I've been involved in flying radio-controlled model airplanes for many years and have depended on KC Hobby to guide me and help me with any questions or problems that I have had. Anytime I need something all I have to do is call or e-mail the shop and they ship it to me immediately. Their knowledgeable staff can answer questions and even make repairs on your cars, boats, helicopters and airplanes. They even offer a service, where for a small fee you can hang up an airplane or helicopter to sell. They have one of the largest shops I've ever been in and have repeat customers who drive for several hours to make purchases at GREAT! prices.....They also have a great selection of plastic models. Kirby and Sherry have always supported the local r/c clubs in the area by donating many items for their fundraisers. If you need anything in the hobby line, products, flight simulators, great advice, a knowledgeable , friendly staff, then you must visit KC Hobby Shop, in Archdale NC.
Pros: Easily accessible from I-85 with plenty of parking.
