Vermilion County War Museum is a great place to visit if you a war buff or a veteran. This museum has every war to this date, with cultural artifacts such as head dresses, uniforms, guns, knifes, medals, and even liquor bottles and cans. The building itself is very inviting, and upon entrance there is a staff ready to great you and inform you on whatever it is you want to know about war history. On the outside it may not look like your normal museum, but I guarantee one you step foot inside this place you can spend hours browsing everything from the British war to the local veterans who have served from the area. Room is in abundance so don't worry about bringing a group or the family, because it will be a pleasureful learning experience for all. Great for school trips or maybe group trips that are interested in the wars our great country has been involved in. All in all I would say that if you have spare afternoon and want to get out of your chair away from the history channel, please visit the Vermilion County War Museum in Danville Illinois, and you won't be let down.
