Review content:
I appreciate a local restaurant. You don't have to be flashy or full of excitement, as long as you offer good food and a good price. Octopus has no ambiance or charm. It is bland and barely even feels like a restaurant. On a Saturday night, there were 4 people in there, so we decided to skip. But on a tuesday, again, only 4 people, we decided to give it a chance. Well, you would think this restaurant would make up in food what they lack in decor, ambiance, character- WRONG. The edamame was cold and slimy. The tuna roll was bland and the sushi was a bit hard and grainy- NOT FRESH. My fiance and I had 1 roll, and 2 pieces of sushi and water- bill came to $30!!!! We were shocked.....at least if it was cheap I'd understand. With all the new and fun spots in the MB neighborhood, I am surprised Octopus is still there. Octopus- HANG UP YOUR CHOPSTICKS.
