Of course, the bad comments/reviews are dated from 2007, which is way back and might be, the management wasn't that good at that time. But, i am a resident since April 2008 here and till date, i never had single complaint./issue with the apartment or with the neighbours. I can live my life here, of course I have seen cops just twice and this isn't that bad to worry about the crimes. May be you should live in texas to see what 'often' means for cops visits. Life is cool and the management is very polite and ready to address any issues that one may have. All in all, this is the best place that I ever lived in the US. I previously lived in Maryland, Connecticut, Texas. And regarding the security deposit, I can wait a month to get back as long as i am assured that I get it back. when it comes to 'charge on per hour' basis, it will be upto 'how clean' you keep and leave your apartment, will you blame apartment guys for that? I wouldn't.
Pros: Very good location, good management, better rents.
Cons: None till date..
