This was not our first time to Tablas but such a bad experience I do not think we will return. While my children and husband received their food fairly quickly, my order took 45 minutes. I did have some of an appetizer and a glass of wine, but could have easily had a second glass of wine had the server come by to ask. When she finally did stop by and we asked about my dinner she said there was a mistake for when it fired and it would be about 7 more minutes. 15 min. or more later it came and now my entire family was done eating. She said the $10 entree would be no charge but we needed to leave since kids are not going to wait. In the time it took her to box it up and bring back the manager (who we asked for) I probably could have eaten it. The manager made me feel like it was my fault that I was complaining about the service. The server really blew it as did the manager. As soon as they were aware of my dinner not being done (because I think the server really forgot to put in the order) they should have been hand over foot attentive to us and instead we saw no one while others around us were being served. We had planned on more drinks and dessert. They took 25% off the bill, but surprise surprise it took over 10 minutes to get the check. Unbelievable. Don't waste your time here.
