In response to the revue done in sept, I am truly sorry for your loss, I have been useing DR. shmunk for years, he cannot save all pets but have seen him get up in teh middle of teh night to save a kitten/ mother cat. He has always spent time with the animals when we bring them in, he may look like he is jus tpetting your dog but he is doing a examination at the same time. He listens to our questions and gives great advice,we raise Pitbulls,we spend ALLOT of time at North davidson vet . I recommend them to everyone. If he could save ALL THE ANINALS...he could walk on water also. Did you,with your dog,ask for just an examination with no bloo d work or any ""extra"" work? Some people come in and think that with just a exam you can find things...that is NOT always the case,it can take extensive bloodwork and xray's etc. if you wanted out cheap as possible that would not have been done. I would HIGHLY recommend this vet. ,Mike Floyd americanbullyk9unit. com we also use our local vet here in pfafftown pfafftown vet. hospital ,since gas has gotten so high and the requirement of a appt. with north davidson it can hamper a need for something now ,they are great there also.not as cheap but very friendly and knowledgeable.
