1/18/03. Free parking one block west. Warned to get there by 5/5:30pm, arrived at 6pm. 5pm, the wait was ~10min. By 6pm the wait was 1hr20min., the little bar in back is full. We sat near the waiting area. Next we'll try the balcony seating. Not too loud, the noise was at a 'jolly' level. I ordered the Delmonico she ordered the stuffed chop. Our waitress was lively, animated, and attentive. The salad with bleu cheese crumbles was delightful, the bread fresh. The Delmonico was flavorful and a wonderful steak-16oz a great man's meal without trying to prove something. The chop stuffed with rosemary and pine nuts was a creative and tasty dinner as well. Dessert, was the triple layer chocolate caramel cake. A wonderful way to conclude the meal. Before tip (and only one glass of wine, one pint of oatmeal stout) the bill was a wallet pleasing $60.
Pros: Great food, inexpensive
Cons: small bar
