Review content:
Just moved here and I've asked around about where I could get a good steak, Jak's was always in the top 5. Though, I was warned to get there early and put my name on the list. Little did I know, that when I arrived at 6:30, thinking I'd get a table at 7:00 or 7:30 at the latest, that there was a 2 1/2 hour wait. But, it was well worth it. The ambience was excellent, dimly lit, with wood paneling all over. My DelMonico was excellent and everyone wish they had gotten it instead! Service was a little off at first, our waitress didn't seem like she wanted to be there, and certainly didn't want to be serving us. She warmed up a bit towards the end of our meal. One thing though, no darks beers! How you can have a steak without a good dark beer?
Pros: great steaks
Cons: Long wait, No Guiness on tap
