Review content:
I read the negative reviews and wanted to describe my experience buying my new Mac on 10/28/2010. I bought my first one at the Mall 6 years ago and have used them and the other independent local store in the past. What led me to CapitalMac is my desire to keep my money where I live; in the city and to support small businesses so they will be there for personal support. I enjoyed the quaint atmosphere and superb service from Meredith Brooks and the entire staff (they even walked my old and new computer to my truck a block away after the FREE data transfer). My phone calls have been answered in about a minute from an associate and did I mention my data transfer was done within hours of the sale. As far as repairs go, I'll have to post when that occurs. But, at 37 and having a small business, I know repair cost ratios. I trust the people at Capital and that means more than a slightly higher repair bill if that is the case. Better service normally means higher cost. It's a shame bad experiences motivate more reviews than the good.
