Review content:
My husband and I drove from Chicago to spend the weekend in Omaha, and decided to see a play. It was SNAP's production of The Laramie Project. It was a spur-of-the-moment decision, and the show was sold out, but two people didn't show, and we got front row seats. I have seen theatre on Broadway and at Steppenwolf and the Goodman, and this was one of the three or four best productions I've ever seen. The performances were shattering. The conviction for community theatre was unbelievable. We were speechless when it was over. The theatre director was so excited that we came from so far and he was able to get us in, that he hugged us after the show. Such warm, decent, and amazingly talented people. Pros: talent, quality play, wonderful people Cons: I live too far away!
