Max is not professional or forthright. I have used Max in the past for at least 4 jobs for my business only because he works on the weekends and my normal appliance tech does not. I made a call to him for an emergency job over the weekend and he said he would not do it until a $50 invoice was paid which was dated 2 yrs. ago. I reminded him I have paid on time for every invoice I ever received from him and why did he never call or mail me this invoice? This was news to me!! I thought it extremely unprofessional. I remembered that 2 yrs. ago an employee of his called me TWICE to get my fax number and TWICE I gave it to her...never receiving an invoice via fax or mail. I told him to mail me the invoice and if it was mine, I would pay it. I called someone else out to fix a fridge and I never received an invoice from Max. Here's where it gets worse:I get a call from a COLLECTION AGENCY today for his invoice that he never mailed or faxed to me for $50.00 Extremely unprofessional. This is not the way to get more business. I would not recommend him or else you might be turned over to a collections agency for a bill you never received.Unprofessional and dishonest.P.S. My regular appliance tech has said after looking at some of Max's jobs that incorrect parts were used.
