Review content:
I made an appointment with Faron to cut and color my hair. I arrived with highlighted blonde hair. After a great consultation, we agreed to dye my entire head light brown (to match my natural color and ""warm"" it up for winter). Faron also suggested ""a couple of highlights"" around my face so I wouldn't be shocked by the new brown color. After Faron rinsed my hair, I could see that the new color was very gold, not brown. She insisted that the color would look ""darker"" when I left the salon. I trusted her, but in the natural light it was worse and my color was dark orange. When I went to pay, I was informed that my service cost $330 - yes, $330. Before my appointment, I inquired about pricing and I figured I would be charged about $200 ($65 for cut, $65 for single process color, and maybe $80 for the ""couple of highlights"" she suggested - if that). I asked the receptionist why the service cost so much and she said it was because Faron had done ""Color Correction"" and the price was $265. She did not do color correction! I called Faron when I got home and she informed me that it is a salon policy to charge all new clients the Color Correction fee since she had to formulate a new color for me (what a crock, that is her job!). I told her that I was unhappy with the color and unhappy with the price I was charged. She offered to fix it, but did not offer to refund any of my money. I didn't mind paying for the services I received, but she grossely overcharged me. I called on Monday and spoke with Jim (a manager) and he set me up with Shea to re-color my hair. In the end, Shea put a darker color over the orange, which completely elimintated my highlights (which I paid $120 for!) and refunded $45. Two weeks later, the dark color has already worn off and my orange hair is shining through again. I paid over $400 (with tips) for a color that I hate. Worst of all, my regrowth is coming in now and I have a lovely line that I need to have fixed. Horrible experience!
Pros: Busy, great energy
Cons: Deceptive pricing, poor customer service
