Review content:
Capulcos looks like a great place. However, looks can be deceiving. Wow, is this bad mexican food. It starts with horrible salsa. How can you mess up salsa? One is hot...not spicey, but served heated and is bland at best. The other is some salsa verde creation that has zero taste. The menu limited menu has no winners that we've found to date. Even the bar has it's issues. I've ordered a Top Shelf Margarita and the servers have no idea what I'm talking about. It's a Mexican restaurant...you have to know what your high end Margs contain!! We've been to Capulcos four times. Each time we hoped for a new change, but so far none. It's easy to see I'm not alone in my opinion...Capulcos is usually empty. Get a new chef and a new menu...if you do it, they will come.
Pros: Great ambiance, Great Location, Nice bar area
Cons: , poor drinks, service needs work
