On July 22, 2008 at approximately 3:30PM, I contacted Sun City Stables (SCS) to inquire about getting an emergency horseback riding lesson for my daughter and her friend, both of whom had never ridden horses before. After explaining to the man who answered the phone that the previous stable where the lesson was scheduled had cancelled my reservation at the last moment because one of the owner's dogs was delivering puppies and they were having trouble with the birthing as one puppy didn't make it, he made arrangements for a lesson to be taken at approximately 5:00PM that same Sunday afternoon! My daughter and her friend were delighted as SCS had saved the day by being so accommodating. I found the stables to be clean and the horses and other animals appeared to be well cared for. The young lady provided our girls with the horseback riding instruction did a fantastic job and by the end of the lesson the girls were pretty much controlling the movements of their horses on their own. Of course there is always room for improvement, but overall we had a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend SCS to consumers. :)
Pros: Accomodating and affordable.
Cons: No information brochures on site.
