Pleasantly surprised! Great value! I almost passed this place up because of the bad reviews but really wanted to ride with more freedom (unguided) so my four daughters and I went. The staff was friendly and took time to match us up with appropriate horses. The horses were all in great shape and good natured even though we went at the end of the day (typically not a good time for horse rentals). Those who griped about this place are looking for a ""Disney Experience"" so they should stay in Orlando. The open but tented stalls are perfect for our hot climate and the horses get free reign over 40 acres after hours. Important advice: The best rider needs to take the lead horse and if you're not confident, pay for a guide for at least the first hour. Once you get to know the trails and the horses you can go unguided. Avoid the trail that leads back to the stalls until you are ready to go back! If you take this trail and then try to turn around, you'll have to persuade the horse!
