I live in southern Oregon, but when I was in Spokane for 2 months I called a friend and they recommended Mechanics Pride Tire and Automotive. The people there treated me like the Queen of England.
I used them for an oil changed. They put paper in for their shoes, delivered me to the hospital and picked me up when they were done. They told me that my rear brakes needed attention, but that the front ones were very good. After conferring with my husband he agreed, so I went back to get the rear brakes replaced.
Everything that they said they were going to do was done at the time they had specified. They were friendly, professional, and understood and accommodated my situation. They even recommended a restaurant a block and a half away, and it was a good restaurant. I have nothing bad to say; I would highly recommend them.
The only trouble is that they are on a corner, and there was minimal parking. That means they are busy though, which to me showed that they have a lot of repeat customers. So in a way, the fact that there was minimal parking actually recommended them.
