Review content:
We were seated for close to 30 minutes before our drink order was taken. This was after a discussion/argument among the staff to decide who was responsible for our table. Realizing how busy the restaurant was we ordered our complete meal when our drink order was taken hoping to alleviate some delays. We were wrong. When our salads finally arrived they sat on a tray a few feet from our table for 20 minutes until I was able to get the attention of another server to ask if they were for our table and request if we could serve ourselves. He promptly served us the salads. Our entrees did not arrive until more than an hour later after several requests. My Mother?s entr?e included a baked potato which came plain despite several requests for butter which never arrived. We are still waiting for our bread and butter to be served after asking several servers/staff. When our water glasses, tea glasses, & champagne glasses went empty they remained empty for the entire 3-hour meal despite numerous requests. Other tables in our section were having similar problems and at least one asked for the check after only receiving drinks. I realize Mother?s Day is a busy day for restaurants but we were disappointed to receive such horrendous service from such an established New Orleans restaurant.
