They're all good and friendly but my lord... is the place in shambles. I'm really not high maintenance. I've lived in dumps before. This place isn't THAT bad. But still... there are some key things about this place that really gets my blood boiling. The apartments are poorly maintained. The offices are getting a makeover right now but what about the apartments! The office workers live in luxury while I live in an apartment with painted over rust stains, water pressure that'll blow your nipples off, etc. The neighbor spilled something upstairs and it leaked through our roof. If there are any holes, they poorly cover it up so if you so much as touch it with any pressure, it's going to go right through. My BIGGEST PET PEEVES about this place is that it's not a secure location and they secure what doesn't need to be! All the gates leading into the apartments are never locked at night but boy they make sure the mail room and laundry room are bolted down tighter than fort knox once it hits a certain time. My fiance and I both work two jobs so we're gone from 6am to 8:30/9:30 at night. Which leaves us zero time to check the mail or do laundry in their time frame of hours. We even have a key to both rooms but there's a deadbolt that they lock as well. What's the point?! How many times I've come home at 8pm trying to check the mail to find that the deadbolt is already locked. I'm constantly screwed out of getting bills and checks in the mail. Or right now I'm trying to do laundry on my one day off and even though the hours say 8-10 it's 9 and the door is not unlocked and my key won't unlock it. Since they are remodeling the offices they can't go get the key to open it. I don't know if they're afraid of homeless people sleeping there or what but we have a security guard and that's part of their job. They're missing out on a lot of money that could be going into their machines. THIS MAIL ROOM AND LAUNDRY LOCKING BUSINESS NEEDS TO END. I'd live with horrible apartment if those rooms would just stay unlocked or at least not dead bolted. I have a key, that's what it's for. We just got new management but it's safe to say that nothing has changed.
