Everybody knows that hard drives fail, and when one half of a pair failed a couple of months ago I thought I would risk it on one for a while. Of course shortly after this the second failed silently and without warning. I had a figure of at least a thousand pounds for hard drive recovery, and had given up when a friend pointed me in the direction of California Data Recovery Services. After taking the drive there, I got a phone call a couple of days later telling me they had an exact clone of my drive ready for collection. I had expected a bill of many hundreds for hard drive recovery, so was rather relieved to get the job done so quickly for a fraction of that cost. The service is professional yet friendly and personal, and I would highly recommend anyone in my position contact them first.
