Review content:
My experience here was terrible. Owner, Heide Morris, led me on for two and a half weeks saying she had a jacket I had requested for Halloween on hold for me, when she in fact did not. Heide had me come to the store twice, telling me that jackets had been set aside for me to try, but both times I was turned away upon arrival and told that no jackets were ready for me to see. Once because I had come on the wrong day (when in fact I had not) and she would not see me because she was too busy "having a talk" with her teenage daughter, and on the second occasion because she had allegedly locked the jackets away for me, but had "lost the key." On both of these occasions, and throughout several phone calls after their credibility had been compromised, Heide did not address me directly, rather she left the communication up to another employee, Robert. He proved to be equally unreliable, apologizing profusely during each interaction, saying he would sort it out and get back to me, but each time he failed to follow up with me. Finally after I expressed my extreme dissatisfaction with her and Robert, Heide apologized and told me to come in again and ask for another manager, Jackie, saying she had been in contact with her and a jacket was waiting for me. Having learned my lesson, I called first, and asked Jackie if this was true. As it turns out, it was a lie, Heide had not talked to Jackie, and again there was no jacket. The bottom line is that Heidi Morris is a compulsive liar, who runs her store like it's her personal closet and not a business, and Robert is an equally useless fall boy who thinks apologies are a suitable substitute for action. If you can get in and out with something they have at the store, fine, but JunQies does not otherwise value its customers, and what's worse, their time.
