My parents were visiting from NY and we heard Taboo was a terrific place for lunch. Our waiter was unresponsive and outright hostile. We asked him about the status of our lunch ordered 45 minutes ago and his response was ""it's the seared tuna. I don't work in the kitchen. What do you want me to do about it?"" Wrong answer for such an establishment. When the order did finally arrive after 1 hour, the tuna was raw (we asked for it medium well) and the mushrooms with an odd taste. Others there seemed equally upset with their experience. The managers were nowhere to be found, allowing for such horrible service. No thank you on leaving the establishment and a manager who had to be sought out to provide feedback. Atmosphere only goes so far. Frankly, I've had better service and food at CPK.
