I'm originally from Utah, but now live in South Dakota. A few weeks ago I came down for a visit, and a friend sent me to California Audio because he'd had a great experience with them. The stock amplifier in my car had blown, and I wanted a system upgrade, too. I went in without a whole lot of knowledge about them or about car audio in general. The salesman was great. He made me feel comfortable, and I know I got my money's worth.
I ended up with a new stereo deck, amp and subwoofer. The salesman didn't try to give me anything I didn't want or need. He presented me with a couple of different options, and the aftermarket system I ended up with is great in terms of both quality and value. They were even able to sync up all the steering wheel controls, even though it wasn't the manufacturer's equipment. I was taught how to use everything, and overall it was an excellent experience.
Afterwards, I sent my brothers to California Audio. They chose a similar system, and in the end felt the same way I did about the service. I'm now telling my whole family about them.
